Introduction

Advanced course on the role of ultrasound examination of the pelvic flow is an ISUOG approved course and organised by Rīga Stradiņš University in collaboration with Latvian Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians, Latvia.

The course is designed to review maternal anatomy in relation to birth progress and provide information on pelvic floor ultrasound. By the conclusion of the course, you will be confident in identifying maternal anatomy, including the pelvic floor, using 2D and 3D/4D ultrasound. You will also acquire knowledge about various techniques for pelvic floor examinations and understand their limitations.

This course is applicable to obstetricians, sonographers, midwives, and anyone involved in the antenatal care of pregnant women.
